The Green Building Certification Pricing Break Program provides multifamily property owners who already have Green Building Certification, to obtain lower interest rate loans than otherwise might be available by allowing Fannie Mae to securitize the loan. Note that the property must possess a current certificate prior to rate lock and that different certifications apply to newly constructed and retrofitted buildings.
