Description

 

The Single-family Affordable Solar Housing (SASH) Program provides incentives to qualified low-income homeowners to help offset the costs of a solar electric system. It offers one up front, capacity-based incentive level of $3 per watt. The incentive level is the same for all applicants. To qualify for the SASH Program, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements: Must receive electrical service from Pacific Gas & Electric (Pacific Gas and Electric), Southern California Edison (SCE), or San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E), The residence must be occupied by the homeowner/applicant, The household's total income must be 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI) or less based on the most recent available income tax return. (Area Median Income is subject to annual changes based upon Housing and Urban Development's income guidelines.)
